Failsafe announces New Agreement that Delivers World Class GIS Verification System.
Failsafe Canada Inc. and Cell Bridge Communications Corp. are pleased to announce that the companies are working collaboratively, to integrate core intellectual properties, for the development of a Global Information System, to support and enhance quantification and validation of GHG carbon credits.
After several months of evaluation and dialogue, the parties have agreed that the new Joint Venture will realize measurable benefits for both Cell Bridge's GeoAlert® user interface and FailSafe Canada's QSYS® GHG quantification application and most importantly create a new standard for carbon offset credit auditing.
"The joint venture will allow for the aggregation of resident based data that will assist in the quantification and validation of carbon offsets and at the same time greatly enhance the value and accuracy of the GeoAlert® database" noted Dan Pacholik, VP of Operations at Cell Bridge Communications.
This agreement will also establish revenue sharing opportunities between Cell Bridge and FailSafe as a result of the International demand for higher accuracy and standards in GHG accounting and verification. Brad Henderson, V.P. at Failsafe Canada Inc. said "the integration of GeoAlert® and QSYS® will allow Failsafe clients, auditors, verifiers, governments and other third parties to access the GeoAlert®QSYS database to obtain high quality irrefutable data and imagery that will add to the already high standards of the QSYS® GHG quantification system, now an internationally recognized GHG management system".
QSYS is a GHG management product by EOS, a division of Failsafe Canada Inc, the pioneer in the Alberta carbon offset marketplace. QSYS core elements include, Contact management, Document management and Contract management, Supply Chain management, Offset quantification, Serialization, Inventory management, Project costing, Financial statements and other operational reports. EOS has added new protocols that are of significant interest to the agricultural industry, especially feedlots. These new protocols, including Bovine, Energy Efficiency and Methane Management, complement the existing "No- Till" protocols, which are already programmed into the existing QSYS application. These additional protocols have all been approved by government and commercialized by Failsafe Canada Inc. These protocols are available for utilization through The Carbon Merchants.
The Carbon Merchants have licensed the QSYS quantification system from Failsafe Canada Inc. This customized GHG management solution has passed a commercial process and controls audit. QSYS serves the hardware and software needs of any GHG aggregator or project manager and was developed in such a fashion that it can be utilized for all greenhouse gas reduction opportunities in any global location. QSYS is a complete GHG ERP system and in addition to quantifying carbon offsets, it provides for Project job costing, Inventory control and GHG footprint tracking. The Carbon Merchants have recently completed another agricultural low-till project with the Wild Rose Agricultural Producers Association. Many Wild Rose members will receive compensation for their efforts.
QSYS is also being used by large final emitters to deliver additional due diligence assurances and to re-certify pre-existing GHG offsets to meet current and future legislative requirements.
